Knitting 401: Lady Sunnyside Part 2
January 20 @ 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm
Have you completed your basic sweater, but want to push your sweater skills just a bit further? This is the class for you. The Lady Sunnyside is jam-packed with new skills: it “is worked from the top down in one piece. The collar band is knit first from a provisional cast on, stitches are then picked up along the bottom of the collar and the sweater is worked flat from there with the collar band transitioning into the button band for a completely seamless construction. After completing the yoke, the sleeve stitches are set aside while you knit the body. The sleeves are then knit in the round to the cuff.” (from the pattern description) You can choose between cables and lace for the design features in this pretty and polished-looking sweater!
Skill Level: advanced beginner/intermediate; must have taken a few 100, 200, and/or 300-level classes or have equivalent knitting experience
Supplies You Provide: Lady Sunnyside Pattern (available in Ravelry through link), 5–9 skeins of The Fibre Co. Cumbria (or similar worsted weight yarn, size 7 needles (or needles needed to obtain gauge))
(7 hours total)
Class will meet 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/10, + 3/3
